Big 12 Preview

 

Here are my predictions for the new Big XII conference

1. Oklahoma
2. Texas A&M
3. Mizzou
4. Oklahoma State
5. Texas
6. Baylor
7. Texas Tech
8. Kansas State
9. Iowa State
10. Kansas

 Texas A&M is in pretty good shape with the schedule getting Mizzou, Oklahoma State, Texas, and Baylor all at home...this means that they should be in position to finish second in the conference as they do have an away game at Oklahoma who should end up winning the conference.

Oklahoma State falls on the other side of this playing at Texas A&M, Texas, and Missouri...now this certainly doesn't mean that Oklahoma State can not win these games on the road, its just if my money was on the line I wouldn't like the odds of them being able to pull anything off much better than third in the conference.

Oklahoma could certainly go all the way, but with some tough games early on the question to whether or not they can go undefeated could be answered quickly...but if they can get past the road trip to Florida State, get their revenge vs Mizzou, and go into Texas and win, it could be a very exciting end of the season that decides if Oklahoma will be able to cement a spot in the National Championship game.

On the other side of the coin, Kansas fans should prolly watch the McNeese State game and really hope that they are able to win that one, cuz if they don't I could easily see them having a winless season.
