Trade Predictions
  • Trades could get crazy this year and I only put one into my mock draft, which obviously won't be the only one.  I do believe that the Eagles try to move up (most likely to 7) to take Fletcher Cox
  • The New York Jets could also attempt to move in order to make sure that they get Melvin Ingram (tho I have him falling to them anyways)
  • Mark Barron could cause teams to move up (Dallas, New England, NY Jets) so there could be a trade in the 9-12 range in an attempt to get him.
  • I don't believe that there will be a blockbuster trade in the number 3 spot (the only possible one that I could see happen would be the Vikings and Bucs trading places, but I don't really see the point in that unless the Vikings can really convince them that they are planning on taking Claiborne)  UPDATE: The Vikings traded the pick to Cleveland (I don't really understand at this point)
  • Obviously things can get out of hand if a player starts falling that team in the back of the pack wants and finally sees an opportunity to grab them or if someone gets excited and we see a 4th QB get taken in the first round.
