Week 3 Betting

After getting myself up $200 in week one I decided to take it easy and have a useless week that ended up having me down one whole dollar.  I went 5-4-1 on my picks last week and watched as my two upset picks failed and one that I decided to switch out at the last second (Stanford over USC at +246) happened.  So overall not a great week, but not really a bad one either.  So hopefully this week ends up being a positive one with none of my picks getting too out of control.
  1. Thursday- NY Giants (+120) @ Carolina
  2. Saturday- Mizzou +10 @ South Carolina (-110)
  3. Illinois -2.5 vs LA Tech (-110)
  4. Arizona State -7 vs Utah (-110)
  5. USC -16 vs Cal (-110)
  6. Sunday- Philadelphia (-185) @ Arizona
  7. Atlanta (+150) @ San Diego
  8. Atlanta +3 @ San Diego (-110)
  9. Denver (+115) vs Houston
  10. Monday- Green Bay (-170) @ Seattle
Possible Winnings- $947

Week 2 Betting

Well last week I won 8 of my 10 bets and ended up $200.  Though things got a little bit close there with Detroit and Philly having struggles in their games at -400 and -425 respectively but did end up pulling off wins.  This week for some reason I decided to avoid those games and picked some upsets.
  1. Thursday- Green Bay -6 vs Chicago (-110)
  2. Saturday- Stanford +8 vs USC (-110)
  3. Notre Dame +5 @ Michigan State (-110)
  4. Ole Miss +11 vs Texas (-110)
  5. Ole Miss (+325) vs Texas
  6. Mizzou (-254) vs Arizona State
  7. Sunday- New Orleans -2 1/2 @ Carolina (-110)
  8. STL +3 vs Washington (-110)
  9. Cleveland +7 @ Cincinatti (-110)
  10. Cleveland (+270) @ Cincinatti
Possible Winnings-  $1264

Week Betting

Okie dokie so here's the deal in order to get myself to do more blog posts and to make sure I am paying attention to things I am going to be doing a weekly betting log.
Basically, the idea is that I am going to give myself $1,000 in theoretical dollars that I am going to be putting down on sports throughout the week (and by throughout the week I mean weekend cuz you know football).  The rules are basically that I am only allowed to put down $1,000 with the idea being about $100 on 10 events so that I would be able to watch sports and enjoy myself while hopefully making (prolly losing) money in the process.  Also this is to help me decide what a decent (if there is any) betting strategy there is when it comes to spread vs the moneyline....welp lets do this
  1. Wednesday-Dallas Cowboys +4 vs NY Giants (-110)
  2. Thursday-Cincinnati (-160) vs Pittsburgh
  3. Saturday 6:45-Mizzou +3.5 vs Georgia (-110)
  4. Saturday 9:30- Arizona State (-120) vs Illinois
  5. Saturday 9:30- Stanford (-550) vs Duke
  6. Sunday 12:00-Colts +9.5 vs Bears (-110)
  7. Sunday 12:00-Atlanta (-150) vs KC
  8. Sunday 12:00-Detroit (-400) vs STL
  9. Sunday 12:00-Philly (-425) vs Cleveland
  10. Monday- Baltimore (-300) vs Cincinnati
Possible winnings-$580
